At FAW South Africa's Port Elizabeth Kuha plant, a Jiefang JH6 high-end tractor equipped with a FAWDE ALL-WIN CA6DM3 engine has been grandly completed. It is the 10,000th truck produced by the plant.
scene of the ceremony
From the first truck Jiefang J6 produced by FAW South Africa PE factory in 2014 to the 10,000th truck Jiefang JH6 produced today, FAWDE has always been accompanied by strength escort.
As a market with traditional advantages of FAWDE, South Africa has ranked first in sales volume among FAWDE exporting countries for three consecutive years. Among them, the proportion of FAWDE-matching export trucks continues to rise. Since the introduction of Jiefang 6th generation trucks with FAWDE into the South African market, the cumulative orders from January to October increased by 162% year-on-year.
In particular, as the exclusive supporting power of Jiefang JH6 in the local area, ALL-WIN CA6DM2 and CA6DM3 series engines have won a good reputation for their fuel-efficient and reliable quality and market performance.
A major customer in South Africa has purchased more than 100 FAW Jiefang JH6 products, and he is very satisfied with the JH6 supporting FAWDE engine. Under the same working condition, FAWDE has an obvious fuel consumption advantage, and the fuel consumption of 100 km is more than 2 liters lower than that of the mainstream European truck engine. He said he plans to change his other efficient logistics fleet to Jiefang JH6.
FAWDE's reputation as "fuel efficient" has also been endorsed by South Africa's leading trucking magazine FOCUS. The magazine organizes a vehicle fuel-saving contest every year, in which the participating enterprises provide traction locomotives, and run 1,000 kilometers on coal trailers with a load of 56 tons provided by the organizing committee.
This year, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Man, Iveco, and other brands have all entered the competition, while the only Chinese competitor is FAW Jiefang JH6 (equipped with an ALL-WIN 500hp CA6DM3 engine). After fierce competition, JH6 won second place, in front of Mercedes.

The building of a good reputation is closely related to the persistence of the overseas staff of FAWDE. Currently, the global COVID-19 situation is still severe. The staff of the FAWDE South Africa Office have forged ahead despite the difficulties, and have stuck to them for more than a year since they returned to the station in 2021. They overcame the risk of the epidemic and actively developed markets and services.
During this period, NAMPO Exhibition in South Africa, which had been suspended for two years due to the epidemic, was held again. The South African Office actively cooperated with FAW South Africa Company to participate in the exhibition. At the exhibition, sixth-generation trucks with engines such as the ALL-WIN CA6DM became the stars of the exhibition.

At the same time, the South Africa office jointly with FAW South Africa conducts market visits and engine technical training, always with customer satisfaction as the first criterion. Their good service guarantee has won high praise from customers. FAWDE trucks have become a money-making machine for South African customers.
