On November 13, a delegation of FAW Jiefang's core dealers and major customers from South Africa visited the Powertrain Division for an in-depth cultural tour.

At the exchange meeting, Mi Xidong, Deputy General Manager of the Powertrain Business Unit, and the core team of overseas business engaged in in-depth dialogue with South African customers.

The customers shared their product usage experiences and highly praised FAW Jiefang Power's superior quality and professional service. They expressed that this visit greatly enhanced their confidence in cooperation and they looked forward to future win-win development.

Mi Xidong stated that customer trust is the core driving force for FAW Jiefang Power's continuous progress. FAW Jiefang Power will continue to improve its product and service capabilities to provide global users with more efficient, reliable, and green powertrain solutions.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Wuxi Huishan production base, conducting an on-site inspection of the intelligent production lines for the CA6DM and CA6DX engines. The highly automated assembly process, rigorous process control, and excellent quality management system showcased the high standards of "Made in China." Customers expressed their amazement at the technological prowess demonstrated by the production lines, further solidifying their confidence in the product quality.

At the newly completed R&D center, the delegation experienced firsthand FAW Jiefang Power's innovative philosophy. The complete independent R&D system and intelligent R&D environment demonstrate FAW Jiefang Power's unwavering commitment to technological foresight and product innovation, giving customers a more concrete understanding of FAW Jiefang Power's technological leadership.

After fifteen years of dedicated development, FAW Jiefang Power achieved leapfrog growth in South Africa in 2023. In 2024, the JH6 model equipped with the FAW Jiefang CA6DM3 500hp engine ranked among the top three in the heavy-duty truck market with sales exceeding 1,000 units. In 2025, with the introduction of the J7 right-hand drive high-end model equipped with the CA6DM3 550hp engine, its market competitiveness was further enhanced.

Taking this cultural trip as a new starting point, both parties will continue to expand their cooperation areas and jointly usher in a new future for the African commercial vehicle market.
